Similarly to tablets, steroid liquids need to be taken on a regular basis and can vary in strength depending on the type of condition being treated.

 Overall, the three main types of steroids are tablets, syrups and liquids, with each having its own benefits and disadvantages when it comes to treating various ailments. It is important to talk to your doctor when considering which type of steroid may be best for you to ensure that the correct type and dose is prescribed for the condition being treated.
